Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila head coach Lucky Nelukau has vowed that Marumo Gallants do not have what it takes to defend their Nedbank Cup title.
Nelukau made the claims following his team’s 1-0 defeat in the semifinal match at Thohoyandou Stadium on Friday night.
Marumo will now defend their title against the winner of the second semifinal match between Royal AM and Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday night.
“They have good players, I am sure about that, but with this approach, I doubt [they can win it],” said Nelukau after the match.
“This is not a humble pie. I am proud of my team and my players; they did their best. You saw they were all over Marumo. It’s just that they were a lucky team.
“We lost the game because of this small mistake, but we are going back to the drawing board and fixing it.”
