Ramovic expects gruelling encounter against Cape Town City

TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic expects a gruelling encounter when they host Cape Town City on Saturday night.

This is despite the fact that City have had a bumpy start to the season. The Rockets will be aiming to keep their unbeaten run intact, while the Citizens will be aiming to make it two successive league wins after outclassing Amakhosi last time out.

Ramovic’s team have improved this campaign following their busy activity in the transfer market. After finishing 13th in the table last season, they are aiming for a better finish this time.

They brought in the experience of Xola Mlambo, Sbusiso Vilakazi and Bernard Parker.

“Cape Town City is a well organised team, playing possession play. It will be a really difficult game, I know Cape Town City is a really tough and hard team to play against. They also have a great coach in the team,” Ramovic told the club media.

“We have to be in our best, try to control the ball and have the ability to play as a team, ability to score after some opportunities we will get. I’m sure we’ll get opportunities to score, so we have to be good on it and try our best.”

The Serbian further reflected on the teams good run in the first five matches. The Mpumalanga outfit have accumulated nine points. They are the only side yet to taste defeat and concede a goal this season.

“I think we did a good job [in August], now we have to hold on, try to control our mind and stay in this kind of space. If we can control it we control the actions, if we can control the actions, actions will control the outcome. We have to keep going, we must not step down,” he added.

Kickoff at Mbombela Stadium on Saturday is at 8pm.
