Sundowns’ Domingo points out Royal AM’s strengths
Mamelodi Sundowns attacking midfielder Haashim Domingo has pointed out Royal AM’s strengths his teammates should be aware of.
The Tshwane giants are set to meet Royal AM in a DStv Premiership clash on Saturday evening (18:00) at Chatsworth Stadium.
Domingo is mindful of Royal AM’s attack especially how they how they play as so far this season, the KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) side has scored 14 goals.
Both sides are motivated heading into the encounter after winning their previous matches against Maritzburg United and Golden Arrows respectively.
WHAT SUNDOWNS CAN EXPECT FROM ROYAL AM
“I can expect a match where both teams won’t sit back; I think Royal AM are a team that’s very flexible at the front three, the forward plays in the change of positions,” Domingo told the club’s media department.
“What I think we can expect [from Royal AM] is a team that’s really going to come at us. They also have confidence after getting three points in the last match.
We'll be looking to make it back-to-back wins in KZN when we take on Thwihli Thwahla! 👆

“So we need to remain disciplined in that regard and stick to our plan.”
Damingo further opened up about Cassius Mailula and Thapelo Morena’s performances in the previous match.
The duo had a great match as Masandawana thrashed Maritzburg United 5-0 on Wednesday evening.
“Cassius [Mailula] I think he had a great game, he was very mature, as a youngster to score a brace he gave me a push that was being mature of him,” added Domingo.
“If he can keep working he could be even be better, 10 times better.
“With Thapelo [Morena] I think we got a good understanding the two of us we spoke prior to the game and discussed things.
“It worked out, it all came together in the match, top performance he scored and three assists. What more do you want from a right full back.”
