SWALLOWS STATEMENT

Dear Swallows Supporters, It has come to our attention that there’s a body calling itself Swallows FC Task Team. This Task Team sent an email to Management riddled with unsubstantiated allegations and rumours. On the basis of the email, the management clarified its stance and politely requested the task team to cease and desist from pursuing their agenda.

This body is NOT a recognised institution because we are not aware of when it was established and by who thus we can’t accede to some of the demands. Management is reluctant to share sensitive and crucial information with a body that is unknown to us. We can’t accede to their demand to allow an unknown body to address players at change rooms.

We find it disrespectful for the Task Team to demand that we ignore and not work with our supporters’ branches and structures.

It is within this context that as Management of the Team we want to distance ourselves from the activities of this unrecognised body. We thus call upon our supporters to avoid participating in unknown structures.

We once more, want to assure our supporters that we are doing everything within our powers to ensure that the team move out of the relegation zone we find ourselves in, hence we are reluctant to be distracted. We thus call upon all our supporters to continue to support the team. We can’t wait to meet you again when we next play our home.

Let’s remain focused on the task to ensure that the team performs well.
