The voting lines for the final starting XIs for the 2022 Carling Black Label Cup were officially closed on Monday, with the final squads revealed.
The participating four teams Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and AmaZulu will clash on Saturday at FNB Stadium in Soweto.
Competition newcomers AmaZulu and Mamelodi Sundowns will lock horns in the first match at 9am, whilst Soweto giants The Glamour Boys and The Buccaneers will battle it out in the second match at 12noon.
The losing sides will then play penalty shootouts for the third/fourth place playoff at 3pm before the much anticipated final showdown at 5pm.
This is how the four teams will line up
Kaizer Chiefs
Amakhosi will be without two key players on Saturday. The duo of captain Itumeleng Khune and striker Calen Bimenyimana will miss out because of injuries. Brandon Petersen and Khama Billiant were called to replace the injured duo.
Mamelodi Sundowns
Masandawana will be without two key attackers, Peter Shalulile and Abubeker Nasir through long term injuries. The two were therefore, replaced by in-form youngster Cassius Mailula and attacker Thabiso Kutumela in front.
Orlando Pirates
The Happy People do not have any major players who will be missing from action at the weekend.
However, captain Innocent Maela is still recovering from an injury which saw him miss out on the MTN8 final on Saturday in Durban. His Pirates troops won the top-eight competition 1-0, beating AmaZulu
AmaZulu
Like Pirates, Usuthu do not have any major players who will be missing because of injury setbacks.
Ramahlwe Mphahlele was forced off against Pirates in the MTN8 final after suffering a concussion following a clash with opposition goalkeeper Richard Ofori.
