What Brandon Truter must fix at Sekhukhune United
Sekhukhune United coach Brandon Truter has revealed the one area that he must fix at his new club.
Babina Noko played out to a goalless draw against AmaZulu on New Year’s Eve in what was Truter’s first match in charge of the team following him appointment in November.
And in his second game as head coach of Sekhukhune, Truter beat Marumo Gallants 3-2 in the DStv Premiership on Tuesday evening.
WHAT BRANDON TRUTER MUST FIX AT SEKHUKHUNE
The club invested too much in the transfer window bringing in quality strikers like Victor Letsoalo and Tshegofatso Mabasa. However, they seem to be failing to find the back of the net.
Sekhukhune have only managed to score 13 goals in 14 league matches this season.
“Our finishing was not good but we can improve tremendously. That’s what we need to address but there is so little time between this game and the next one,” Truter told the club’s media department.
“We were the better team and our structure was very good. They had to commit to certain things and they lost a player.
“We’ll analyse, we will get the players to observe and see what went wrong. For it was two points dropped at home.
ONE POSITIVITY TRUTER SPOTTED
Despite dropping two points at home, the former AmaZulu coach stated one positivity that he takes from the draw.
“The positive thing is that we Sekhukhune got a clean sheet against AmaZulu, which has been a while. I think the boys even feel it that we dropped two points at home,” he added.
Sekhukhune will be looking to make it two wins in a row when they travel to Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday, January 07.
Truter’s main goal will be to try and ensure his troops keep a clean sheet after conceding two goals against Gallants.
