Magaia continues to shine in South Korea
Banyana Banyana star Hildah Magaia continues to prove her doubters wrong with her consistent fine form for her South Korean club, Sejong Sportstoto.
The speedy forward began her life in the WK League, the top division of women’s football in South Korea with a bang, having scored two goals for Sportstoto in just three appearances.
Magaia was on the scoresheet when her side got the better of Gyeongju 3-2 in a league clash on Monday.
She joined Sportstoto last month from Morön BK in Sweden, where she managed to find the back of the net on 12 occasions last campaign.
The 27-year-old frontwoman played a significant role in helping the South African women’s national team qualify for the Caf Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (AWCON) due to take place in Morocco later this year, and she will be hoping to be part of the Banyana squad that will be travelling to the AWCON tournament.
Magaia’s excellent one-on-one dribbles with great speed and ability to bang goals make her stand out.
