Miguel Timm hints at Marumo exit

Marumo Gallants midfielder Miguel Timm has confirmed to FARPost that there are offers from other clubs in the PSL but insists his focus remains at the club until the remainder of the season.

Timm has been linked with a move away from the Nedbank Champions, with a few clubs named his future destination, including Soweto giants Orlando Pirates.

The 30-year-old has had a solid two seasons for the Limpopo club since joining Maritzburg United in 2020.

“I have not put much thought on that because there has been a congestion of games, so there is no real-time to think about contracts and where I will be going,” Timm told FARPost.

“My full focus is here, and I think I have proven to everyone that I am able to handle myself in a professional manner and give my all to the club I am currently at.

“It’s been a good challenge (being at Marumo). I had a lot of negativity from a few people coming here at the beginning. It was important for me to stay focused and trust that I was meant to be here, and this is the perfect time for me to be here, and I think I have made the best out of that opportunity,” he said.

“I like to be honest. I have read stuff that isn’t true, and there have been one or two things that have been true. So there have been one or two offers that have been true, but a lot of other staff are not true, or I am not aware of. I think I owe it to my club to be respectful and continue to give my all, and then we will sit down together at the end of the season to discuss the future.”
