DONE DEAL: Siphelele Ntshangase rejoins Black Leopards
Motsepe Foundation Championship Club Black Leopards have completed the signing of midfielder Siphelele Ntshangase.
As reported by FARPost, Siphelele Ntshangase has been training with Lidoda Duvha for the past few weeks. The 29-year-old has been clubless since parting ways with Marumo Gallants at the end of last season.
The former Kaizer Chiefs player’s career has taken a wrong turn from the once promising career he had.
Since his much-publicised move from Baroka FC to Kaizer Chiefs in 2028, Ntshangase has not lived up to expectations.
He spent four seasons at Amakhosi but struggled for much game time, with the club terminating his contract.
SIPHELELE NTSHANGASE IN THE MATCH DAY SQUAD
This publication has spotted Ntshangase amongst the match day squad players in Malamulele on Saturday. He is part of the 20-match day players in the Nedbank Cup qualification match against Polokwane City.
He is likely to make his second debut for the club. Ntshangase is a former captain of Black Leopards, during which time he made a name for himself. Ntshangase spent four seasons with them between 2013 and 2017.
OTHER DEBUTS FOR LEOPARDS?
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Jackson Mabokgwane will likely play his first official match for the Limpopo-based club. Mabokgwane, who joined from rivals Baroka last month, is also part of the squad that will take on Rise and Shine at 15:00.
Denis Chembezi also gets an opportunity to start a match for Leopards since joining late last year. Zimbabwean striker Douglas Mapfumo is another player who will make his start for the club.
OTHER NEDBANK CUP QUALIFICATION SATURDAY FIXTURES
Hungry Lions will host Venda Football Academy in Kimberley, and Pretoria Callies will take on JDR Stars in a Tshwane derby.
The only fixture on Sunday will see Baroka hosting Platinum City Rovers at Baroka Village. All matches will start at 15:00.
