No need to panic – Kgoloko Thobejane

The DStv Premiership six-pointer match between Baroka and Swallows in Dobsonville might determine who is likely to face the chop at the end of the season.

Baroka are bottom of the log with 18 points, five points from safety, while Swallows are second from the bottom with 20 points, three points from safety, and five matches to play.

Bakgaga head coach Kgoloko Thobejane insists they are not thinking about the consequences of the possibility of losing that match and remain positive.

“We are not panicking because if you can panic, then it is a problem, everything might not go according to the plan, so we need to focus, and we are focused,” said Thobejane ahead of the 15:00 kick-off match.

“We believe these boys will turn things around. Yes, of course, it’s crunch time. The game that we are faced with now it’s a must to win. There is no way.

“Let’s not talk about the consequences. Let’s go all out and win it. Make sure that we get three points and be on top of them,” he said.

“We are encouraging the boys and doing everything to make sure that as players, they are ready. They must be happy, they must be focused, so the mood is a winning mood.”

Royal AM will take on AmaZulu in one of the only DStv Premiership matches on Sunday.
