Another departure at Orlando Pirates
Goalkeeper coach Sjoerd Woudenberg has confirmed that he has reached an amicable decision to part ways with Orlando Pirates ahead of the 2022/23 season.
The former Cape Town City goalkeeper coach joined the Soweto giants following the departure of Jyri Nieminen in December 2020.
“Unfortunately, my journey with Orlando Pirates FC has come to an end. I want to thank everyone at the club, and I wish the club all the best for the future,” said Sjoerd Woudenberg.
The 35-year-old also spent five years working in the Netherlands for Go Ahead Eagles in the Dutch Premier League and the First Division.
Sjoerd Woudenberg is considered one of the highly-rated goalkeeper coaches as he boasts a Pro goalkeeper Licence.
