AmaZulu FC head coach Romain Folz has confirmed that Guily Manziba will be added to his squad after training with the club for several weeks.
The DR Congo international recently parted ways with SuperSport United, whom he had joined in 2020 during Kaitano Tembo’s tenure.
Thereafter, he was invited to train with Usuthu during the FIFA World Cup break with the club hoping to utilise his services.
Now, the French-Moroccan coach has revealed that the 26-year-old forward will be signing for the KwaZulu-Natal side after making an impression.

“He is in the process of getting his paperwork to be registered,” Folz said during the club’s media open day on Wednesday.
“Still unsure if it’s possible for him to be registered for this game [against Kaizer Chiefs on Friday].
“But it’s not confirmed at the moment.”
During his stint with Matsatsantsa, Manziba featured in 28 matches and scored three goals in all competitions.
If the former Zanaco FC man gets registered in the midweek, he’ll be in line to make his AmaZulu debut when they square off with Kaizer Chiefs in the DStv Premiership on Friday.
Folz says it’s a must-win for them as they come from a KZN derby defeat at the hands of Royal AM.

“We need to win,” he added.
“We have the game in front of us, they’re going to try to win as much as we want to win.
“So, it’s going to be a matter of who’s the best team on that day, we going to try to be that team.
“It’s not going to be an easy game but we’ll make sure it’s not an easy game for them.”
The match is set to take place at the Moses Mabhida Stadium at 19:30.
