AmaZulu FC head coach Romain Folz has confirmed that Guily Manziba will be added to his squad after training with the club for several weeks.
The DR Congo international recently parted ways with SuperSport United, whom he had joined in 2020 during Kaitano Tembo’s tenure.
Thereafter, he was invited to train with Usuthu during the FIFA World Cup break with the club hoping to utilise his services.
Now, the French-Moroccan coach has revealed that the 26-year-old forward will be signing for the KwaZulu-Natal side after making an impression.
MANZIBA TO BE REGISTERED AT USUTHU
โHe is in the process of getting his paperwork to be registered,โ Folz said during the clubโs media open day on Wednesday.
โStill unsure if itโs possible for him to be registered for this game [against Kaizer Chiefs on Friday].
โBut itโs not confirmed at the moment.โ

During his stint with Matsatsantsa, Manziba featured in 28 matches and scored three goals in all competitions.
If the former Zanaco FC man gets registered in the midweek, heโll be in line to make his AmaZulu debut when they square off with Kaizer Chiefs in the DStv Premiership on Friday.
Folz says itโs a must-win for them as they come from a KZN derby defeat at the hands of Royal AM.
FOLZ ON CHIEFS CLASH
โWe need to win,โ he added.
โWe have the game in front of us, theyโre going to try to win as much as we want to win.
โSo, itโs going to be a matter of whoโs the best team on that day, we going to try to be that team.
โItโs not going to be an easy game but weโll make sure itโs not an easy game for them.”
The match is set to take place at the Moses Mabhida Stadium at 19:30.
