Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena has clarified his stance on players who allegedly came to training drunk.
Last week, Sundowns players were left shocked after Andile Jali allegedly came to training in a sorry state.
A week before that, Sipho Mbule, who is in his maiden season at Downs, is also said to have pulled a similar stunt.

The reports of the duo’s conduct have been doing the rounds this week. Sundowns have not made any official announcement on either of the two suspensions.
Following Sundowns’ 3-1 win over Marumo Gallants in the Nedbank Cup Last 16, Mokwena was asked to comment about the two.
The duo of Mbule and Jali were not with the team in Bloemfontein, although the former SuperSport midfielder was also serving a suspension.
“Well, I don’t… I’ve said if you look for negatives from me, I don’t have any. About my players, I will never speak negatively about my players. Never, ever, ever. So I’ve got no comment,” Mokwena told journalists.
Mbule signed a three-year deal in June, joining Sundowns from Tshwane rivals SuperSport United.
On the other hand, Jali is in the last few months of his contract with Sundowns and negotiations have been long-drawn.
Whether Sundowns will renew the former Bafana Bafana star’s deal remains unclear.
MANCHESTER CITY COMPARISON
Meanwhile, Mokwena has compared Sundowns to English Premier League champions Manchester City.
He was speaking on SuperSport TV after the match, responding to a question on why teams were failing to stop the reigning DStv Premiership champions.
“A lot of teams know how Man City create the chances, a lot of teams know how Sundowns create the chances,” he said.
“But the players are so good, the game belongs to the players, and a lot of credit goes to this honest, honest group.”
