Collins Mbesuma has joined Jomo Sono in offering Kaizer Chiefs new striker Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana priceless scoring tips.
The legendary Sono recently tipped the Burundian on what he needs to do to hit the ground running at the Naturena.
Mbesuma has now taken his turn to offer the towering Bimenyimana free advice, according to Rui Frois of FTI Soccer Academy.
The Zambian has urged the Burundian to keep calm in the box.
“He’s being guided by the best. First, it was Jomo Sono who spoke to him, and then Collins Mbesuma,” Frois tells FARPost.

“Mbesuma told him: ‘You must just be calm. He [Mbesuma] knows how they play and the system they use at Chiefs.”
Frois said Mbesuma believes the 24-year-old is a finisher, hence ought to learn from Manchester City’s Norwegian hotshot Erling Halaand.
“But the biggest advice he gave him was that he must follow Erling Halaand religiously. He must watch how he finishes, the way he positions him.
“Mbesuma admires how Halaand anticipates and knows where the ball is going,” he said.
The Chipolopolo legend believes the Burundian international has wonderful service from Chiefs creative midfielders.
“Mbesuma said to him: “you’re playing with the best midfielders in the country”, which is a luxury. He was referring to the likes of Yussef Maart, Siyethemba Sithebe and Njabulo Blom,” he said.
The 2005 PSL Player of the Year Mbesuma further told Bimenyimana to avoid frustrations that comes from missing scoring chances.
“The other thing he said was that he needs to stop stressing a lot when he misses or doesn’t get the pass,” Frois added.
The former Portsmouth striker knows the pressure that comes with playing for Amakhosi.
He is a cult-hero at Amakhosi camp after scoring 35 goals in the 2005 season.
The Zambian, too, took time to come out of his blocks when he joined Chiefs in the year 2004.
“Interestingly, Mbesuma went through the same, and he says it went on until he adapted to the environment. Most importantly, he told him not to wait for the ball but run after it,” Frois explained.
The advice from the Mzansi legends seem to be working with Bimenyimana scoring a brace when Chiefs beat SuperSport United 2-1 weeks ago.
“He’s a good listener, and I saw him apply some of those things when they played SuperSport. He scored a brace,” Frois said.
In an exclusive interview with FARPost, the Burundian said he wants to emulate Chiefs greats Knowledge Musona and Mbesuma.
“I won’t promise gold and diamonds, but I will work hard, making sure that I leave a mark just like my predecessors (Mbesuma, Musona) did. I am aware of what is expected from me… Hard work and consistency will put me there…,” Bimenyimana said.
The Soweto giants signed the Burundian mid-August, weeks after he had returned home following what appeared to be disinterest from coach Arthur Zwane.
However, the Chiefs coach made a U-turn after the 4-0 and 1-0 losses to Mamelodi Sundowns and Royal AM.
Bimenyimana made a name in Rwanda, where led Rayon to their eighth Premier League championship in 2017 before steering the club past the Confederation Cup group stages for the first time in the year 2018.
The Burundian signed for an unspecified Ukrainian club earlier this year, but he was not able to play for them following the war that broke out between Ukraine and Russia, bringing football to a halt.
