WHAT AMAZULU NEED TO WORK ON
“The mood in the camp is high, we are all happy to be back and we couldn’t wait to see each other. We can’t wait to get our bodies in shape and the league to resume,” Hanamub to the club’s media department.
“We are obviously coming back from a break and our physical condition is not where it was before we left for the break. But we are definitely pushing to get our bodies in shape.”
Upon return from the break, AmaZulu’s first team played a friendly match against the Diski Challenge team to try get in shape.
“The game was very good just to get some minutes, like I said to get the body back in shape. For the boys, I’m sure it’s a good exposure, the feeling to be in the first team,” Hanamub added.
“They [reserve team players] must go further not go back to the second team, so they must keep pushing.
Hanamub has been key for AmaZulu this season. So far he has made 16 appearances in all competitions.
His solid and consistent performances at the back helped the club reach the final of the 2022 MTN8, where they lost 1-0 to Orlando Pirates on the night in Durban
