4 things you need to know about Cristiano Ronaldo’s new club Al Nassr
Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo has finally found a new home at Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr. The former Manchester United forward was on Friday announced by the Saudi Pro League outfit as their new acquisition.
Ronaldo has been a free agent after parting ways with the Premier League giants Manchester United just before the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar. This was after his controversial interview with Morgan Piers.
According to reports, Al Nassr’s followers on social media doubled after the arrival of Ronaldo was announced.

HISTORY
The club is based in Riyadh and was formed in 1955. They use Mrsool Park as their home ground. Their first promotion to the first division was in 1963, after they won the league.
The team’s success was mainly around the “Saudi Golden Trio” of Majed Abdullah, Fahd Al-Herafy and Mohaisn Al-Jam’aan.

Al-Nassr is one of the most successful clubs in Saudi Arabia’s topflight. They have won a total of 20 topflight trophies.
