Another PSL club to host matches in Mangaung

With Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila already settled at their new home in Mangaung, Free State, another PSL side is set to follow them.
Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila played to a 1-1 draw against Casric Stars in their first match at Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium on Saturday. They have also rebranded their colours green, previously used by Bloemfontein Celtic.
FARPost has now learnt that TTM are soon to be followed by another Limpopo club Marumo Gallants. The rumour of Marumo Gallants moving to Mangaung first surfaced last year.
But the club downplayed the reports and promised to issue a formal communication regarding the alleged move. The club has since gone quiet on the issue.
PSL CLUB TO MOVE MATCHES TO MANGAUNG
But this publication has now gathered that Gallants will play some of their PSL matches in Mangaung. This will start with the DStv Premiership match against TS Galaxy on Saturday, 4 March.
They are also set to play their Nedbank Cup last 16 match against Mamelodi Sundowns at the Free State Stadium. The PSL is yet to confirm the dates and venues of the last 16 fixtures.

MARUMO GALLANTS TO USE A DIFFERENT NAME NEXT SEASON?
This also suggests that the permanent move from Limpopo to Mangaung is back in the pipeline. It was halted due to financial negotiations.
Reports have also suggested that Marumo will rebrand to Marumo Celtic as of next season. Recently, the club whose owner originates from Limpopo have moved their matches to Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg.
This is after they expressed displeasure at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane where they have been accommodated since the club’s formation two years ago.
Gallants are the only PSL club currently participating in the CAF Confederations Cup. They are currently top of Group A after two wins from their two opening matches. Their next encounter is against USM Alger in Algeria on Sunday, 26 March.
