On the other hand, TUT came into the game with one win, one draw and a loss.

But with time, the players adjusted to the pitch conditions, with both sides coming at each other in the first 10 minutes of the game.

Wendy Shongwe scored an opener in the 12th minute for UP, which was later followed by an equaliser from Sizande Komane a minute later in the 13th minute.

The two teams went into half-time in a 1-1 stalemate. In the 46th minute, Shongwe completed her brace and made the score-line 2-1 for UP.

A couple of minutes after UP scored their second goal, Ibanathi Msindo made it three for UP from a free kick shot.

Even though it was too late, Tshegofatsho Motlogelwa was able to pull one back for TUT and make it 3-2. UP walked away with both bragging rights and three points in the Super League.
