Zwane reveals how he plans to manage Sithebe’s game

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has revealed how he plans to manage Siyethemba Sithebe’s game ahead of a DStv Premiership clash against Marumo Gallants

Amakhosi will welcome Gallants at FNB Stadium this evening [20:00], as the side continues with its quest to finish second in the South African football top-flight.

Chiefs coach has been given a major boost by the return of midfielder Yusuf Maart from suspension. And according to Zwane, Maart is most likely to start on behalf of Sithebe.

‘10111’, as he is popularly known within the football circles reckons that Sithebe has played many games and it is of important importance to manage his game.

The coach is well aware that Bahlabane ba Ntwa will bring their A-game coming into this showdown. Gallants are fighting to avoid relegation.

‘WE’RE TRYING TO MANAGE HIM’

“It is good to have Yusuf Maart back. We think Siyethemba [Sithebe] has played a lot of games, we’re trying to manage him,” Zwane told Chiefs’ media department.

“Also, looking for a better approach for this game [against Marumo Gallants]. We thought starting with Yusuf and Mangethe [Samkelo Zwane] will give us a plus.”

“This is because we want to keep the ball in the middle. So, we will have Sithebe as a back-up for this one.”

BENEFICIARIES OF FAVOURABLE OFFICIATING

In recent weeks, the Soweto giants have made the headlines with claims that they are beneficiaries of favourable officiating in the PSL.

Now, many football fanatics are looking forward to tonight’s game to see if their opponents will have a red. And if Zwane’s charges will get a penalty.

As things stand, the Glamour Boys sit fourth place on the log standings with 40 points after 24 outings.
