TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi has spoken his mind after the Bafana Bafana team list error on Bathusi Aubaas and responded to whether Orlando Pirates have enquired about the player.
Aubaas was listed as a Pirates player when Hugo Broos’ men took on Morocco in the AFCON qualifier on Saturday.
This is after the player had already been linked with a move to the Soweto giants. However, Sukazi insisted the Buccaneers have never put an enquiry about the 28-year-old.
TIM SUKAZI ON WHETHER PIRATES HAVE PUT ENQUIRY ABOUT BATHUSI AUBAAS
โIโm dismissing the rumours as absolute nonsense,โ Sukazi told FARPost.
Sukazi confirmed that SAFA reached out to him but didnโt reveal the details of their talk. He stated that he demanded an apology.
โThese rumours have been perpetuating for some time and all of the suddenโฆboom! This kind of a mistake,โ he continued.
โSo, the latest is that the manager at SAFA reached out to me to explain on this matter. But in the end, my conclusion was that an apology is what will put this matter to rest.

โBecause some of the harm that may be caused by this type of thing could be irreparable. Over and above, the element of undermining at face value as a club, surely you donโt want it.
โAs TS Galaxy, you donโt want to see a CAF team sheet being registered with your player under a different clubโs name.โ
He went on to say he believes Pirates had nothing to do with the error and it would also cause a disturbance for their fans.
‘THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS’
โWorse, the club that is concerned in this case, Orlando Pirates, they have nothing to do with this,โ he added.
โThey also saw this, it also causes them unnecessary commotion internally and externally. They have got a huge support base, they donโt deserve that if I were to speak on their behalf.โ
