Kobamelo Kodisang signs new deal in Portugal

Highly-rated SA winger Kobamelo Kodisang has signed a new deal with Portuguese side, Moreirense. 

The future of the South African-born footballer has been consistent with his stellar displays for his side this past campaign, helping Moreirense to gain promotion to the Portuguese first division. 

Two days ago, the ex-Kaizer Chiefs target was named in the Team of the Season. This comes after his impressive performances for Moreirense

Overall, Kodisang scored 13 goals and weighed in with five assists last season. To put a cherry on top, the talented winger won six Man of the Match accolades.

KOBAMELO KODISANG SIGNS NEW DEAL WITH MOREIRENSE

Kodisang has signed a four-year deal with Moreirense. The former Platinum Stars man joined the Portuguese club in August 2022 from SC Braga B on a loan deal.

The agreement for Kodisang’s permanent move was finalised this morning, 28 June 2023. 

This comes after Moreirense exercised their purchase option and agreed with Braga on time. The deal means that the  Bafana star is no longer a Braga player.

KOBAMELO KODISANG EXPECTED TO BE KEY FOR MOREIRENSE NEXT SEASON

The star winger will be one of the key players for Moreirense in the new season. The Portuguese side will want compete and make big statement in the first division.

It goes without saying that Kodisang has proven what he is capable of in the field of play, and he isn’t just a Moreirense star player but he is a cracking package, workhorse, and ever-reliable finisher. 

The gifted winger comes highly-rated having represented SA at all junior levels. He was part of SA U17 team that participated at the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile.

He was part of David Notoane’s U23 squad that participated in the Tokyo Olympics.
