Marumo Gallants’ new home confirmed
Motsepe Foundation Championship side Marumo Gallants have confirmed their new home ahead of the new season.
This comes after Bahlabane ba Ntwa made major announcements at Hotel Sky in Sandton on Thursday, 17 August 2023.
This puts an end to months of speculation regarding the club’s relocation.
Marumo were relegated to the SA second tier after finishing at the bottom of the DStv Premiership last campaign with 29 points from 30 outings.
MARUMO GALLANTS FINDS NEW HOME
Gallants have confirmed that Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein [Free State] will be the club’s new home ground for the new campaign.
But unfortunately, Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium is currently under maintenance “to get the stadium ready for play.”
Furthermore, Isak Steyl Stadium at the Vaal University of Technology [Gauteng] was also confirmed as the club’s alternative home ground.
Isak Steyl Stadium will host Gallants’ upcoming home matches in the interim, as Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium is under maintenance.
Last season, Gallants were busy going up and down which saw them use four venues. The four venues were Peter Mokaba Stadium, Mangaung, Royal Bafokeng and Dobsonville Stadium.
