Where to stream Pirates’ CAF Champions League clash against Djabal
Orlando Pirates have announced the streaming details for their CAF Champions League encounter against Comoros side Djabal.
Pirates will welcome Djabal at Orlando Stadium on Friday, 25 August in the second leg of the preliminary stages.
The Buccaneers claimed a hard-fought 1-0 win over Djabal last Saturday at Stade de Moroni.
Zakhele Lepasa scored a stoppage-time winner to take his tally for the 2023/24 season six goals in five matches in all competitions.
On the local front, Pirates have been inconsistent in the new DStv Premiership season after claiming just one victory in the three opening matches of the campaign.
They opened the season with a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Stellenbosch FC and bounced back with a 4-2 thrashing over Royal AM before playing to a 1-1 draw against Chippa United.
Jose Riveiro’s men only managed to collect four points out of the possible nine. They are positioned eighth on the league table in three matches played thus far.

Pirates announced that their Champions League clash against Djabal will be live on Pirates TV on YouTube.
Meanwhile, the last time the Soweto giants participated in continental football, they went all the way to the Confederations Cup final.
They were beaten in the final on penalties by Moroccan side RC Berkane during the 2021/22 season.
They made a return to the Champions League after finishing as runners-up behind Mamelodi Sundowns in the league last season.
In the 2022/23 season, Pirates won MTN8 and Nedbank Cup in Riveiro’s first season in charge of the club.
Pirates will face off against Djabal on Friday night and the match is scheduled to kick off at 19:30.
