Seema on why he’s not ‘worried’ about facing rampant Sundowns

Polokwane City head coach Lehlohonolo Seema has spoken about why he’s not overly concerned about their next clash against rampant Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Brazilians are the only side to have won all their five DStv Premiership games across all competitions in this campaign. They also progressed to the MTN8 and will do battle with Kaizer Chiefs in the semifinals.

Meanwhile, PLk City, who earned a promotion to the top flight this season, have collected six points after four games. They have won two and lost two of the four games they’ve played thus far.

This past weekend, they suffered their second loss on the road, losing 3-2 at the hands of Golden Arrows at the Mpumalanga Stadium in Hammarsdale.

Rise and Shine will lock horns with the champions on Wednesday, 30 August at Peter Mokaba Stadium at 17:00. Speaking about the next task of his side, he insisted he’s unfazed and believes they have nothing to lose against Sundowns, who have been “beating everyone”.

“No [I’m not worried], let them go enjoy the game, so we’re not worried,” Seema told the journalists.

“Mamelodi Sundowns is beating everyone; why should I be worried?  We just go there, we focus on ourselves, we fix what we couldn’t fix today.

“And after that, we continue to the next one.”

CITY INCHING CLOSER TO SIGNING NDUMISO MABENA AND MANUEL KAMBALA

Meanwhile, Plk City are continuing to bolster their squad as they’re inching closer to signing Ndumiso Mabena and Manuel Kambala, as previously reported by FARPost.

A source known to this website revealed that the player had been offered a short-term contract. On the other hand, Kambala has been training with the club. And indications are that he’s likely to put pen to paper quite soon.
