WHO IS THE FIFTH DONDOL STAR TO MOVE?

FARPost can confirm striker Tshepo Skhosana has secured a move to the second tier. He joins Marumo Gallants on what is thought to be a short-term contract.

Gallants got the chop at the end of the 2022/23 season and vowed to bounce back to the top flight quickly. The 21-year-old forward will be expected to get goals for Bahlabane ba Ntwa in their quest for promotion.

The left-footed striker’s agent, Pontsho Madumo of Cream Sports Management, confirmed the development.

“Yes I can confirm that Tshepo has joined Marumo Gallants,” Madumo told FARPost in a telephonic interview. “It certainly is an exciting challenge for him and we looked at it and felt playing in the Motsepe Foundation Championship will help further develop him.

“At 21, he has his future ahead of him and we trust he will grow from this stint with Marumo.”
Skhosana could make his debut against JDR Stars on Saturday at the Soshanguve Giant Stadium.

The former DStv Premiership side is eye to lose a game after playing four so far. They played three draws against Casric Stars, Hungry Lions, and Platinum City Rovers. Their only win came against Milford FC last Saturday.

Besides his eye for goal, he is always willing to work hard for the team, both in attack and in defence. He is able to press defenders and track back to help his teammates.

He is also able to play in a variety of positions across the front line. That quality makes him more valuable to Gallants.
