CHIPPA UNITED WANTS TO EMULATE BENNI MCCARTHY

“So the turning point is winning the league for me because if I start and be in the top eight, the turning point means it’s something better, which is lifting something. Although, Carling [Cup] it would be nice to be the first coach to lift it.

“I know you guys respect a person when you win something, so I want to be like Benni [McCarthy]. Benni came here not having coached anything and he won a Cup. It has been proven that you don’t need to coach for 10 years to win something,” he said.

Chippa United have been drawn against Stellenbosch in the last 16 of the Carling Knockout Cup.
