RULANI MOKWENA’S GAMEPLAN AGAINST PETRO DE LUANDA

According to Mokwena, anything can happen in the game of football even with a great lead.

Therefore, he says they won’t take the match lightly as they will show respect to the opponent and play the game, not the scoreline.

“We’ve seen many things happen in football. We’ve seen teams come back from even greater scorelines,” said Mokwena.

“We looking forward to taking the scoreline back to South Africa, but we approach it as nil, nil, and it’s a different ball game.

“This is half time, but there’s 90 minutes. So it’s important for us to stay humble and very focused, respect our opponent and the quality that they have and play the game, not the scoreline.”

THE TALK RULANI MOKWENA WILL HAVE WITH MAMELODI SUNDOWNS PLAYERS

The Soweto-born mentor further stated the talk he will have with his players on how to play the match.

“My message to the players will be to remind them about the match we played two or three days ago in a cup game in South Africa [against TS Galaxy in the Carling Knockout Cup].
