‘They’re confident at the moment’: Dolly on facing Arrows
Kaizer Chiefs attacker Keagan Dolly has opened up on facing Golden Arrows in their next league assignment stating that their opponents are ‘confident at the moment’.
The two sides take it to the field on Saturday at Mpumalanga Stadium and kickoff is at 3:30pm.
Former Chiefs striker Mabhuti Khenyeza seem to have everything under control with the KZN side this campaign after co-coach Vusimuzi Vilakazi resigned.
After eight matches played in the DStv Premiership, Arrows lay second on the log with 17 points. They’ve registered five wins, two draws and suffered one defeat.
On the other hand, Amakhosi are going through a rough patch. They are eighth with 13 points from nine encounters. Their poor start to the season saw coach Molefi Ntseki lose his job and replaced by Calvin Johnson.
Heading into the encounter Abafana Bes’thende are a motivated side after defeating Cape Town City FC 3-1 in the Carling Knockout Cup, Round of 16 in their last match.
As for Chiefs they will be aiming to get back to winning ways following a disappointing 1-0 defeat against AmaZulu FC last time out.
KEAGAN DOLLY ON FACING IN-FORM GOLDEN ARROWS
“They are confident at the moment,” said Dolly.
“I’m sure they will be thinking we are down and out going into this game. But I feel it is for us to show them that we are Kaizer Chiefs and prove to them what we are made of.
“We will go there with the mindset of getting nothing less than the three points. I believe we have the capability to do that.”
Dolly further stressed on the importance of showing respect to Arrows on Saturday and not underestimate them.
“However, we will not underestimate them. We know we will have to work hard, but we are prepared to do what it takes,” Dolly added.
