RANGA CHIVAVIRO ON SOWETO DERBY

Chivaviro has revealed that they cannot afford to disappoint their fans again by losing another Soweto Derby.

“To win this derby is very important after letting ourselves and our fans down against Pirates. We do not want to repeat that,” said Chivaviro.

“We want to pick ourselves up and redeem ourselves in another derby. Our preparations have been going well,”

The 31-year-old footballer went on to say that the FIFA international Break came in handy, as it has afforded the team to redeem themselves.

”I think the break did us good, allowing us to regroup after our last game and now we just want to get out there and put it behind us,” he added.

“We want to bring our positive energy into the game against Swallows this weekend. Most importantly, we want to be victorious at the end of the day.”

RANGA CHIVAVIRO ON WEATHER CONDITIONS

The former Marumo Gallants goalscorer reckons that the current heatwave won’t be a problem because they train a lot in hot weather conditions.

“We are used to playing when it’s a bit cooler but we are professionals. We train a lot in the heat, so I don’t foresee it as a problem at all,” Chivaviro divulged.
