Vincent Pule makes heartwarming admission about Mofokeng

Orlando Pirates winger Vincent Pule has made a heartwarming admission about teenage sensation Relebohile Mofokeng.

Mofokeng was promoted to the Buccaneers’ first team in April this year following his stellar displays in the DStv Diski Challenge [DDC]. 

The 19-year-old has been phenomenal since he made his debut for the Buccaneers in a DStv Premiership clash against Royal AM on 03 May 2023.

His dream debut in the Sea Robbers colours came after he featured on the bench four times. 

Since then, the Pirates starlet winger has been the talk of the and never looked back, as he grabbed every opportunity he got with both hands.

To prove how good the boy is, the youngster went for trials at English Premier League outfit Wolverhampton in October this year. 

So far, Mofokeng has played in 16 games across all competitions for Pirates this season. However, he’s yet to find the back of the net.

VINCENT PULE’S ADMISSION ABOUT RELEBOHILE MOFOKENG 

“I think he’s a good boy you know. He’s a good human being,” said Pule when asked what he makes of the youngster. 

“He always wants to learn and he listens. I think it’s going to help him a lot.

“But as a youngster like that, he’s a very special boy. He’s comfortable on the ball and can do what other youngsters cannot do.”

The 31-year-old right-winger continued: “I think for us is to make sure that we give him the confidence and we make sure that we give him the support that he needs. I think he’s going to excel.”

Given Mofokeng stellar’s displays thus far, it is safe to say that the rising left-winger isn’t just a Pirates star player but he is a cracking package and workhorse.
