Nedbank Cup Last 32 fixture details confirmed

The PSL have officially announced the details for the Nedbank Cup round of 32 matches, including dates, venues, and kick-off times for the 2023/24 season.

Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, and Mamelodi Sundowns, the dominant forces in PSL dodged each other in the highly-anticipated Nedbank Cup last 32 draw.

Potentially paving the way for a deeper run in the competition, the big three received favourable draws as they are set to face opponents from South Africa’s lower divisions.

The defending champions, Pirates, will begin their title defence against SAFA Mpumalanga [team to be confirmed] on Saturday, 24 February at Mbombela Stadium, with the kick-off set for 15:00.

But the tournament itself will roar to life on Tuesday, 20 February 2024. The Round of  32 will be played over six days. The last fixture is on Sunday, 25 February 2024. 

The first game will take place on Tuesday night when NB La Masia welcome Mamelodi Sundowns at Dobsonville Stadium. On the same day, SuperSport United will host Cape Town City at Lucas Moripe Stadium. Both fixtures are set to kick off at 19:00.

On Wednesday evening, 21 February 2024, there will be two matches. Highlands Park will take on Sekhukhune United, while the University of Pretoria and Cape Town Spurs will entertain each other in Tshwane.

AmaZulu FC and Royal AM will go head-to-head in the KZN Derby. The game will take place at King Zwelithini Stadium on Thursday, 22 February 2024. Kick-off is at 19:00 for all Wednesday matches. 

On Friday, Lamontville Golden Arrows and TS Galaxy will battle it out at Mpumalanga Stadium. Stellenbosch FC will welcome Pretoria Callies at Danie Craven Stadium. Both fixtures will kick off at 19:00.

Over the weekend, nine fixtures will unfold nationwide. This will include all-SAFA divisions matchups, featuring FC Ravens against Spain FC on Saturday, 24 February 2024. Concluding the last 32 fixtures will be D’ General versus Madridtas FC on Sunday, 25 February 2024.
