Two clubs including Soweto giants enquire about Shaune Mogaila
Two DStv Premiership clubs including Soweto giants have made enquiries for the services of Shaune Mogaila after he left Royal AM.
The speedy right-footer cut ties with Thwihli Thwahla after the two parties couldn’t reach an agreement in discussions for a new contract.
As previously reported, he was first sent to train with the club’s reserve team before he was given his clearance. He is now a free agent and can put pen to paper at any club of his choice, however, he’d only be eligible to play next season.
The player has been of interest to Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu FC during his time at Royal AM.
The Buccaneers have been long-time admirers of the Ga-Mashashane-born star. They wanted to sign him before he even switched to Royal AM.

Information reaching FARPost is that both Sea Robbers and Usuthu enquired about signing the 28-year-old.

Mogaila was a regular feature in Royal AM’s starting line-up as he played all their games this season. He made 16 appearances including in the league and Carling Knockout Cup.
He joined Royal AM in 2022 from TS Galaxy and went on to play over 60 games for the KZN side, scoring four goals and providing six assists during his stay. In the past two seasons, he became a utility player as he was utilised both as a right-back and winger.
John Maduka played Khulekani Shezi at right-back when they drew against Kaizer Chiefs in the league match on Sunday. The 23-year-old has featured in five games this season, scored one goal and provided one assist.
