The attacker has been in Tanzania since 2020, when he joined their Premier League side, Azam FC. He joined the club as a 23-year-old from his boyhood club, Highlanders FC of Zimbabwe.
Initially, he left Highlanders in 2017 for SuperSport United in the DStv Premiership. But the steady forward did not manage to break into the first team.
He was subsequently loaned to Black Leopards for a season but still battled for regular game time.
The Zimbabwean international returned to his home country, where he excelled and was voted Zimbabwe’s 2019 Soccer Star of the Year second runner-up.
It is that impressive form that earned him the move to Tanzania, where he was a regular in their squad.
However, the former SuperSport United gunslinger Prince Dube has asked Tanzanian giants Azam FC to terminate his current contract.
