Sekhukhune United and Bafana Bafana winger Elias Mokwana has addressed transfer speculation amidst interest from big clubs. Mokwana has been a revelation for the Limpopo club since joining them from Platinum City Rovers last season.
His performances have not gone unnoticed and he has now broken into the Bafana Bafana squad under Hugo Broos. The club has reportedly also put a R35 million price tag on the 24-year-old.
There have been reports of interest from top clubs such as Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates. But Mokwana insists his focus is on Sekhukhune but also revealed his ambitions of playing overseas one day.

“I don’t know anything about that because my agent has not said anything,” he said.
“So, I know nothing. All I am focused on is here at Sekhukhune and we will see what happens going forward. “It has always been my dream to play abroad.”
Mokwana admits his performance has gotten better from the time he made his DStv Premiership debut.
“I think I have improved a lot from my first season in the PSL and the coaches have been behind me. Telling me what to do and even the senior players have been guiding me. So it’s only helping me,” he added.

The exciting winger has detailed how it all began when a former Platinum City Rovers team manager discovered him in North West.
“I was discovered by a guy called Shakes Kabini,” he revealed.
“He was a team manager at the club and we were playing in the ABC Motsepe League North West stream. He took me from Kasi where I was playing and took me there.
“We gained promotion to the Motsepe Foundation Championship, then that’s where I was scouted by Sekhukhune,” added Mokwana.
