What’s next for Morgan Mammila after Chippa exit
Former Chippa United technical director Morgan Mammila has hinted at what his next move could be after his departure from Chippa United. Mammila and United parted ways following the completion of the DStv Premiership season.
Despite being the technical director, Mammila was still sitting on the bench alongside co-coaches Kwanele Kopo and Thabo September. He has had an on-and-off relationship with the club that first gave him the coaching opportunity.

“I just hope and pray that people can recognise what I can do,” he told FARPost.
“One thing for sure, if there is a project that needs a hand from me, I will accept it. I have chosen football as my life. I can do any other business but for now, football is in me. So I think my heart is pure when I am in football.
“Coaching, and administrating, I can be a supporters coordinator because I know the value of supporters coming to the stadium. I know what it means to the team,” he said.
MORGAN MAMMILA WANTS TO GIVE BACK IN HIS NEXT MOVE IN ANY CAPACITY
“I won’t mind to give [back] to any province, to revive any team. Remember in this kind of job there are only a few teams. I am going to knock on all doors. It’s not about people coming to you now. In this industry, you knock on doors just like any other person when they are looking for a company [to work for]. I am also looking at the line of football. Likely I have the numbers of a few Chairman, I am going to give them a call. Maybe I will get something, you never know.”
Mammila has also played down the notion that he was pushed out at the club.
“No, I won’t say I was pushed. But the club has taken the direction that they want to take and feel it’s good for them.”
