PSL newbies beef up technical team

Newly-promoted Motsepe Foundation Championship side Kruger United FC have beefed up their technical team with Abram Mongoya, who will serve as the club’s new assistant coach.

This comes after the Mpumalanga-based outfit’s hierarchy managed to convince Vusi Mkhatshwa to continue as the head coach of the team in the new season.

During the 2023/24 SAFA‘s ABC Motsepe League National Playoffs held in Upington in June this year, Mkhatshwa announced his retirement from coaching.

This was after Mkhatshwa helped Kruger to finish as the runner-up at the national playoffs following their 2-0 defeat to Eastern Cape’s Highbury FC in the finals. However, the side had already secured promotion to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
