Magesi part ways with one of their new signings
Betway Premiership side Magesi FC have parted ways with new signing Lebogang Mabotja, FARPost has learnt.
Mabotja joined the club recently, along with 12 other new signings most recently ahead of the new season.
He spent the past season at fellow Premiership side Sekhukhune United. When announcing the new arrivals a month ago, head coach Clinton Larsen said Mabotja and other new signings were players that the club believe would add value.
“We believe that the players that we brought are players that can add value to the team,” said Larsen at the time.
“Add values in terms of how we want to play as a team and make the team stronger. My experience in this division is that when the chips are down, and you are going through a difficult period, it is the players with PSL experience that can keep things together,” he said, referring to the new signings.
