PSL confirm Carling Knockout Cup semi-final draw, final venue announced
The PSL has finalised the draw for the semi-finals of the 2024/25 Carling Knockout Cup and announced the venue for the final game after the exciting quarter-final matches on Sunday, 3 November.
This comes after the draw was conducted at the end of the Marumo Gallants and Stellenbosch FC game and was broadcast live on SuperSport Channel 202 and SABC Sport.
The quarter-final mouthwatering matches began on Saturday, 2 November, as Richards Bay FC defeated Cape Town City FC 5-4 on penalties after 120 tiresome minutes at King Zwelithini Stadium to book the semi-final spot.
Later in the evening, Kaizer Chiefs were humiliated by Mamelodi Sundowns by a 4-0 scoreline in a sold-out quarter-final affair tie at FNB Stadium.
On Sunday afternoon, 3 November, TS Galaxy suffered a 1-0 defeat to Magesi FC. The Clinton Larsen-coached side debuted in this cup competition at Orlando Stadium when they beat Orlando Pirates in the first round.
The last game of the quarter-finals saw Gallants beat the defending champions Stellenbosch 1-0. The game took place at the Dr Molemela Stadium.
DRAW PROCEDURE BY THE PSL
a) The semi-final draw was unseeded in accordance with Carling Knockout competition rules.
b) All four club names were placed in a single bowl for the draw.
c) The first ball drawn represented the home team for the first fixture. The second ball represented the away team. This process was repeated to confirm the second fixture.
PSL CONFIRM CARLING KNOCKOUT CUP FINAL VENUE
The Carling Knockout final will be held at Toyota Stadium on Saturday, 23 November 2024.
Natal Rich Boyz, Bafana Ba Style, Bahlabane ba Ntwa, and Dikwena tsa Meetse will lock horns in the semis for a spot in the finals.

The Carling Knockout semi-finals will be played on the weekend of the 9th and 10th November 2024.
The PSL will announce the kick-off times and venues for the semi-final fixtures in due course.
