Highlands Park have cemented their top spot with a 3-0 win over African All Stars in the SAFA Gauteng ABC Motsepe League over the weekend.
The showdown between the Lions of the North and Sekhukhune United’s feeder side took place at Balfour Park Stadium on Saturday, 5 April 2025.
Highlands Park are sitting comfortably on the summit of the Gauteng Motsepe League table with 71 points after 30 games. They are now seven points ahead of the second-placed Gomora United, who are coached by well-travelled mentor Johnny Ferreira.
The Victor Tshabalala-coached side are left with four games to conclude the season and win the league, which will see them qualify for national playoffs and hopefully gain promotion to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
