The 24-year-old signed a two-year deal with the Bloemfontein-based outfit in July 2024 from the Botswana Premier League, where he impressed.

Since his arrival at Gallants, the talented winger featured in 31 games across all competitions, scoring three goals and providing three assists.

With his satisfying displays, Msendami has shown signs of growing influence as a winger for Gallants and has attracted the interest of the two Soweto giants, Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs.

DANIEL MSENDAMI’S AGENT ON WHAT HELPED HIS CLIENT SETTLE IN AT MARUMO GALLANTS

The Zimbabwean international had a slow start at Bahlabane ba Ntwa, but he eventually found his feet in the team after becoming more accustomed to the club’s environment, with the help of his agent.

His agent, More, revealed to this publication the conversations he had with Msendami to help him regain his form at Gallants.

“Look, if you noticed, in the first few games for Marumo Gallants, he had a bit of a struggle, having to adjust after coming from Botswana,” More told FARPost.

“So, I think one of the most important conversations we had with Daniel was: how do we get you right? I sat down with him and asked him, ‘What’s wrong? What do you need to settle down?’ One thing he said was that he needed his family to be in South Africa, which includes his wife and daughter.

“Once that happened, that’s when Daniel started switching on and became one of the key players for his team in the Betway Premiership. His family was the main reason for his consistent performances.”

Currently, Gallants are placed 10th on the Betway Premiership log standings with 30 points after 26 matches. The side will play their last two league games against Chippa at home on 17 May and Magesi FC away from home on 24 May 2025.
