Betway Premiershipย Sekhukhune United has confirmed another new signing, announcing the latest addition to their squad: defender Medupi Thokolo from Casric Stars.
Babina Noko have concluded their pre-season preparations and they are gearing up for the start of the new season with an MTN8 quarter-final clash against TS Galaxy on Saturday.
Sekhukhune head coach Eric Tinkler took his troops through their paces over the past few weeks, instilling his philosophy and tactics as he looks to build a competitive team.
Tinkler arrived at Sekhukhune in the second round of the previous season to replace Lehlohonolo Seema, who has already taken the head coaching job at Siwelele FC.
Under the former Orlando Pirates mentor, Tinkler, Sekhukhune finished fourth on the league table last season and marginally missed out on the CAF Confederation Cup qualification.
As they look to perform better than last term, the Limpopo-based outfit has already made a handful of signings to build a strong squad for the 2025/26 campaign.
Sekhukhune snapped up players such as Miguel Timm, Bradley Grobler, Toaster Nsabata, Manuel Sapunga, Tsepo Matsimbi, Olerato Mandi, Sphiwe Mahlangu, and Ronaldo Maarman.
The ambitious club has continued bolstering its squad after signing Medupi Thokolo from the Motsepe Foundation Championship side Casric Stars.
