Just two weeks after his departure from Kaizer Chiefs, Tebogo Potsane has been seen training with Siwelele FC. The move comes as the newly acquired club continues to shape its squad for the 2025/26 season.
Siwelele bought the status of SuperSport United and have made a few signings to bolster the squad. They brought in head coach Lehlohonolo Seema along with the likes of Buhle Mkhwanazi, Relebogile Mokhuoane, Wayde Lekay and Thabo Makhele.
Siwelele have now set their sights on the signature of the talented winger.
The 31-year-old attacker’s time at Naturena was cut short due to a combination of injuries and limited playing time, which led to his exit. His absence from the pre-season camp in the Netherlands was a clear sign that he was no longer in the club’s plans.
TEBOGO POTSANE EAGER TO โREUNITEโ WITH SIWELELE
The former Royal AM winger has already begun training with the team, and sources indicate that both parties are in advanced talks to finalise a deal.

Potsane is reportedly eager to “reunite” with the club, where he hopes to revitalise his career under coach Seema, with whom he previously worked at Bloemfontein Celtic.
Since joining Chiefs two seasons ago, Potsane made just 19 appearances across all competitions, with only eight of those coming last season. He failed to score a single goal during his tenure, contributing only two assists, a statistic he would want to improve upon with his potential new club.
Whether the deal materialises depends on their agreement on a package. Prior to his transfer to Chiefs, the nomadic Potsane played for clubs including Mangaung United, Free State Stars, Bloemfontein Celtic and Royal AM.
Potsane, a speedy winger, initially signed a three-year deal with Amakhosi at the start of the 2023/24 season after joining from Royal AM. With one year left on his contract, both parties mutually agreed to terminate the deal due to his limited game time last season.
He was the eighth player to leave Amakhosi during the current transfer window. He joined a list that includes Ranga Chivaviro, Sabelo Radebe, Edmilson Dove, Mduduzi Mdantsane, Edson Castillo, and Bongani Sam.
Additionally, Yusuf Maart was sold to Austrian club RS Ried, while Njabulo Blom, whose loan from MLS side St Louis City SC was not extended, has since completed a transfer to Vietnamese V.League 1 champions Thep Xanh Nam Dinh FC.
