Chibuike Ohizu unveiled by Siwelele FC

Betway Premiership side Siwelele FC have officially unveiled Nigerian striker Chibuike Ohizu from Sekhukhune United, confirming a move first reported by FARPost two days ago.

This comes after Ohizu had fallen out of favour at the Limpopo club, after making six appearances for Babina Noko in the current campaign.

Last season, the 28-year-old forward proved to be a key player for Sekhukhune, featuring in 25 games across all competitions and scoring six goals, while contributing an assist.

Overall, Ohizu has played over 110 games and found the back of the net 30 times while also providing three assists. He joined Sekhukhune in the 2020/21 season.

As reported by this website, following a misunderstanding with Sekhukhune head coach Eric Tinkler, the player was instructed to train with the team’s Diski Challenge side. However, in an effort to reach an agreement, the two parties sat down to discuss the possibility of a loan move to Siwelele.

This move to Siwelel will see the goal scorer reuniting with his former coach, Lehlohonolo Seema. The duo worked together at Sekhukhune in the last campaign.
