TS Galaxy coach Adnan Beganovic has expressed his dissatisfaction over the Seshego Stadium, which he describes as too small and not good enough for PSL football.

This comes after Galaxy suffered a 2-1 loss in a Betway Premiership clash against Limpopo side Magesi FC on Saturday evening at the venue just outside Polokwane.

It was a fourth defeat of the season for Galaxy, who are now eight on the log after nine matches. Galaxy scored first through on-form forward Seluleko Mahlambi, but conceded two late goals to allow the home side to secure their second win of the season in the league.

WHAT DID THE TS GALAXY COACH SAY ABOUT THE SESHEGO STADIUM?

During a post-match interview with journalists, Beganovic admitted that it is a difficult task to play in Seshego.

“From the beginning, when we were preparing for this game, I said we could expect a tough game because obviously Magesi play through a model and we needed to adapt if we wanted to survive,” he said.

“But I know from the previous time. It’s so difficult to play on this small pitch, especially to defend long balls and set pieces.

“When we tried to have possession and the ball, we didn’t have the space because it’s so tight and small. Also, the pitch didn’t allow that because it’s not good enough.”

“I can say for the PSL, you can’t control the ball. You need to use many touches, and it’s so difficult.”

ADNAN BEGANOVIC SHIFTS FOCUS TO ANOTHER CHALLENGE

Beganovic also admitted that they could have gotten away with a point, but has now shifted focus to their next match, which is a Carling Knockout Cup tie against Golden Arrows on Sunday.

“It’s difficult and sad how we lost the point because already we had one point in our pocket. But it’s already past, and the game is finished,” he added.

“We can’t complain, there is no point. We need to turn these things around and prepare our team for the next game against Arrows in the Black Label Cup.”
