Ex-Baroka FC and TS Galaxy right winger Ntiyiso Bombi has been spotted at the SAFA Limpopo ABC Motsepe League side, Nkowankowa Continental.
The 24-year-old was on the books of the Rockets, having joined them in July last year on a free transfer after his departure from the now-defunct JDR Stars. However, during his stay at the Mpumalanga club, he never featured in any official game for them.
Before joining the then Nditsheni Nemasisi-owned club, JDR, he had shown signs of becoming one of the good wingers during his stint with Bakgaga; however, Bombi started to struggle for game time and succumbed to a decision to cut ties with Baroka by mutual agreement.
The Tzaneen-born footballer also represented the Marumo Gallants DStv Diski Challenge side, where he caught the eye of the Baroka hierarchy.

Bombi has been training with the Nkowankowa-based outfit for the past few days and has impressed the technical team and the club’s management.

As a result, the Limpopo side has succumbed to a decision to rope in the talented winger for the 2025/26 campaign.
Bombi’s experience in the Betway Premiership and Motsepe Foundation Championship is anticipated to benefit the amateur team and assist them in contending for the league title.
On the other hand, the club will be striving to secure a spot in the SAFA ABC Motsepe League National Playoffs, intending to gain promotion to the Motsepe Foundation Championship next season.
In addition, Nkowankowa Continental progressed to the next round of the Nedbank Cup qualification phase after defeating Tefu Mashamaite-coached side Phalaborwa United 4-3 on penalties on Saturday morning. The game ended 0-0 in regulation time.
