Motsepe Foundation Championship side Baroka FC have parted ways with veteran goalkeeper Badra Ali Sangare, while also making a decision on Thato Mokeke and Tebogo Langerman.
The Ivory Coast international goalkeeper joined Baroka only four months ago after his exit at Betway Premiership side Sekhukhune United.
However, his short stint at the Limpopo club was not as successful. He only featured five times for Baroka before they parted ways at the end of December 2025.
Chairman of the club, Khurishi Mphaphlele, has confirmed to this publication that the club and the 39-year-old agreed to go their separate ways last month.
WHY BADRA ALI SANGARE HAS PARTED WAYS WITH MOTSEPE FOUNDATION CHAMPIONSHIP SIDE
“He wasn’t fitting well in our system. So we terminated in December,” Mphahlele told FARPost.

Meanwhile, Mphahlele has also confirmed that Thato Mokeke and Tebogo Langerman are also no longer part of the team.
FARPost reported in November that the futures of Mokeke and Langerman, as well as those of Lantshene Phalane and Mothusi Gopane, were in doubt.
This is after the quartet were โexcusedโ from the first team to go train with the clubโs feeder team, which participates in the SAFA Hollywoodbets League. Mphahlele has since confirmed that Mokeke and Langerman have opted to terminate.
Phalane has been assigned a role in the technical team while Gopane is still embroiled in a legal battle with the club.

โMokeke is no longer with us, so is Langerman. They are not happy to go there [to the feeder team]. So we terminated,โ he added.
Mphahlele has also backed coach Tlisane Motaung to turn things around when the league action resumes later in January after the 2025 AFCON break. Baroka are currently second from bottom with 16 matches remaining to play.
โThat man is a hard worker. I thought I was a hard worker, but that one is a hard worker, I tell you,โ declared Mphahlele.
โHe works 24/7. He travelled throughout the whole province to watch tournaments and brought some players that we believe will help change the fortunes of the team. I am happy for him, and I wish him all the best.”
