Durban City FC interim coach Pitso Dladla has outlined his personal ambitions after helping his club reach the Nedbank Cup final over the weekend.
The โTeam of Choiceโ reached the Nedbank final following a hard-fought 1-0 win against Motsepe Foundation Championship side Casric Stars at Chatsworth Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
They will take on TS Galaxy, who edged out another second-tier outfit, Milford FC, in Sunday’s second semi-final. The clash at the Solomon Mahlangu Stadium in KwaMhlanga was decided via a penalty shootout after the match ended 1-1 following 120 minutes of gruelling action.

PITSO DLADLA TALKS ON THE PROSPECT OF PLAYING CAF FOOTBALL

“There’s a possibility of us doing that [qualifying for the Confed Cup], but we also want to remain humble,โ he added.
โWe also have to realise the fact that we are in the final [of the Nedbank Cup], but we haven’t won it. But also, the final is very challenging because if you are there and you don’t win it, nobody will remember that you reached the final; only the winners get to be remembered.
โAs you have said, you need to have a CAF A Licence to coach in Africa. So I think it justifies my ambitions that I am not in a hurry, I am not rushing. I support every decision that the chairman [Farook Kadodia] and the board of governors…โ
