Cameroonian striker Fils Ndou Moukete Simon Ngoh says he has been left stranded in South Africa after Casric Stars terminated his contract and allegedly failed to honour a promised payout of R33,000.

The forward, who joined the Mpumalanga-based PSL side earlier this season, claims the club agreed to make a once-off payment on 30 April following the termination of his contract.

However, more than a week later, the payment has still not been made. Ngoh now finds himself in a desperate situation, unable to return home to Yaoundรฉ, Cameroon and struggling to survive.

โ€œI want to go home, I have no other option, and itโ€™s the 7th of May, and I have nothing left to eat,โ€ he told FARPost.

The striker enjoyed a productive campaign despite limited appearances, scoring six goals in 11 matches this season for Casric Stars in the Motsepe Foundation Championship. However, for undisclosed reasons, the two parties agreed to part ways.

Efforts to obtain a comment from Tivani Mkansi, the Casric Stars Football Manager, were fruitless, as his phone went unanswered on several occasions. Mkansi also did not respond to text messages sent to him.

Meanwhile, with two games to go before the curtain comes down on the Motsepe Foundation Championship, Casric have missed out on automatic promotion again.

Despite a good run in the Nedbank Cup that saw them reach the semi-final, where they lost to Durban City FC, they are currently fifth in the league. They are two points behind third-placed Cape Town City FC and Hungry Lions, who have both amassed 48 points.

Together with second-placed Milford FC, they are vying for the two promotion playoff spots. They play Upington City FC and Gomora United in the final two matches of the season.
