Cameroonian striker Fils Ndou Moukete Simon Ngoh has confirmed that Casric Stars honoured their payment agreement. The striker had told FARPost that he had been left stranded in South Africa after his contract was terminated and that the agreed R33,000 had not been settled.
However, the club has clarified that the funds were paid earlier in the week. The forward, who joined the Mpumalanga-based PSL side earlier this season, also confirmed receipt of the funds.
Moukete reportedly approached the club to request a release. After engaging the striker, the two parties agreed to a mutual payment, with a once-off payment to be made on 30 April. The player has indicated he intends to travel back to his home in Yaoundรฉ, Cameroon.
“I can confirm that I received the money,” Moukete told FARPost.
The striker enjoyed a productive campaign despite limited appearances, scoring six goals in 11 matches this season for Casric Stars in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
CASRIC STARS FINALISING THABANG SEMACHE’S EXIT

Meanwhile, Casric is also finalising the exit of former TS Galaxy midfielder Thabang Semache. The two parties have agreed to part ways. Although the club has yet to pay his April salary, there is an agreement that it will be settled together with his payout.
Meanwhile, with two games to go before the curtain comes down on the Motsepe Foundation Championship, Casric have missed out on automatic promotion again.
Despite a good run in the Nedbank Cup that saw them reach the semi-final, where they lost to Durban City FC, they are currently fifth in the league. They are two points behind third-placed Cape Town City FC and Hungry Lions, who have both amassed 48 points.
Together with second-placed Milford FC, they are vying for the two promotion playoff spots. They play Upington City FC on Sunday, 10 May 2026, and Gomora United in the final two matches of the season.
