FARPost has it on good authority that Betway Premiership side Sekhukhune United have secured the services of lethal striker Palelo Mafuyeke from SAFA Limpopo ABC Motsepe League outfit Selwana White Vultures.

The talented frontman has been a key pillar for White Vultures in the 2025/26 campaign, establishing himself as one of the most feared goal scorers in the amateur ranks.

The 23-year-old enjoyed a remarkably prolific season, weighing in with an impressive 28 goals in 22 appearances across all competitions for the Limpopo-based club.

His stellar displays in front of goal helped Selwana White Vultures finish fifth in Stream A of the Limpopo Motsepe League, accumulating 33 points from their 22 outings.

The side finished 15 points behind stream leaders Mpheni Defenders, who went on to represent the Limpopo province in the 2025/26 SAFA ABC Motsepe League National Playoffs held in Mthatha, Eastern Cape, earlier this month.

Before his breakthrough campaign with White Vultures, Mafuyeke nurtured his skills across various divisions in local football. He previously turned out for Edinburgh United in the SAB League and also featured for Liver Brothers in the Mpumalanga ABC Motsepe League.

This publication can reveal that Mafuyeke has penned a three-year deal with Babina Noko, which includes an option to extend for a further season.

The talented frontman is widely known for his versatility and dynamic presence in the final third. He can use both feet equally effectively, making him difficult for defenders to deal with.

With a robust background rooted deeply in local football, Mafuyeke has consistently showcased his skills and contributed significantly to the success of every team he has represented.

The clinical marksman will be expected to bolster Babina Noko’s attacking department ahead of the new season.

Sekhukhune will look to improve on their previous league finish after missing out on a CAF Confederation Cup spot, having finished fifth on the log with 44 points last term.
